CID Regional Insights Forum – East Africa

Join CID members and partners for the next Regional Insights Forum (RIF), focusing on East Africa.

East Africa is home to some of the world's most significant humanitarian and development challenges, while also being a region of remarkable resilience, innovation, and opportunity. Many CID members maintain long-standing partnerships and programmes across countries including Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Somalia, and Sudan.

This forum will provide an opportunity to hear directly from New Zealand and regional experts, connect with fellow practitioners working in the region, and gain practical insights into the political, humanitarian, and development landscape shaping current programming and partnerships.

The session will feature perspectives from New Zealand officials, regional practitioners, and CID members actively engaged across East Africa, followed by discussion and networking opportunities. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of emerging trends, operational realities, humanitarian needs, and opportunities for collaboration.
